How Do You Sleep At Night?

Inspiration: If I had one question to ask the Nazis who carried out the Holocaust, this would be the question; "How Do You Sleep At Night? Some of it is written from a Jewish person's point of view and some of it is written from my point of view.

How Did You Sleep At Night?

I did nothing wrong except be part of the "wrong religion".
Blamed for every little or big thing that happened in our country.
To be wiped out for extinction was the world's mission.
Shot, tortured, gassed, cremated, exhausted, diseased, or died hungry.

Different from mine will be everyone's question.
Everyone will ask "How can they be so heartless"?
How did you sleep at night would be the one I'd pick from the selection.
Were you just following orders or were you just plain full of carcass?
While you fell asleep listening to the radio; I fell asleep listening to sounds of
 Death.
If you gave any food, it would be food not even your dogs would touch.
A gift or a curse from life I could not decide of my next breath.

Did you honestly think I would not feel much?

Come on! Tell me how do you sleep at night.

Innocent and Naive

Two things that people are born with: Innocence and naivety. Its maintained for a certain amount of time until people begin to experience the world, or people take away those traits. For me, I'm twenty-six years old and I've never experienced the world, nor have had people take away my innocence or naivety. Go ahead and call me Ms. Juliet Capulet or the Virgin Mary, but I've never understood why people do the things they do, say the things they say, think the way they think, believe what they believe. People could be younger or older than me, but I will not understand people. An adult whose mind is like a child''s mind feels weird because an adult is supposed to have the mind of an adult and a child is supposed to have a mind of a child. However, since I've arrived here, my mindset has stayed the same. People call this a gift from God; I want to believe it, but I wonder if its something I've done to myself. What I mean is, I run away from things that bother me. For example, I can't take it when I see someone dying or seeing someone holding someone else at gunpoint. Why people do those kinds of things, I do not understand why. People may understand that, but some people may not because they may think I prefer to live in a fantasy world where everyone and everything is good and happy in the world and nothing bad ever happens. They can go ahead and think that way, but they can also think about whether they would like to see people treat each other better than they do right now because God teaches us that to overcome evil is to overcome it with good.

Look

Its a four letter word that's easy to spell and do. However, most people don't think its that easy to look. People are either to busy, selfish, or careless to look at someone or something. Whether its a lonely and sad person or a person with a heavy load, people will look at them for a second and have sympathy, but eventually walk on to their lives.

People are supposed to rely on each other. If this is true, why does it take people a lifetime to look around their environment; look around the world? Most of what's going on around us doesn't require twenty twenty vision. So go ahead look around and tell me what you see.
